Vapes have slowly progressed to global phenomenon. People all around the world use vapes when once they could not even recognize a vape kit when they saw one. This phenomenal success has come because of the great fix that these devices provide for smoking while being less costly in the long run than smoking.

Vape Juices:

Manufacturers around the world have seen this success and wanting to be a part of it, have looked to set up their businesses in the vape industry. Manufacturers have set up businesses that produce different vape accessories, including atomizers, cartomizers, tanks, wicks and so on. However, the most prevalent business relating to e liquids has been e liquid manufacturing.

E liquids are actually the real attraction in vaping. They not only allow the user to vary the nicotine as they wish or change the cloud production to flavor configuration, but also allow vapers the choice whatever flavor they want to vape. Manufacturers typically produce e liquids as a part of a series with one underlying theme in the series.

How Long Do They Last?

Like anything else, vape juices expire too. But somehow, this is just a little more unsettling than when other things expire. But, the truth is that they do expire. Any Vape Juice will have a shelf life of 1 to 2 years after which the juice will expire. Although many manufacturers may not put an expiry date on their e liquids, you should consider it expired because that is the shelf life of its constituents and they lose their effectiveness.

However, an expired e liquid is not necessarily one that is harmful in any way to you. All that an expired e liquid lacks is the potency that it first had. So the e liquid may not have the same strong taste as it once did and you might get the nicotine feel as strongly as you once did, but you could still vape it without much consideration but just to be safe, don’t.

How Does it Expire?

To check whether your e liquid is expired or not, there are several factors that you must consider. These will indicate whether the vape juice is any good or not. Here are some apparent changes in an e liquid that will tell you that it has expired:

Color:

The color of an e liquid will either change or, more often than not, fade away so your vape juice is just a colorless liquid. This happens mainly because of nicotine. The nicotine is a very reactive chemical and causes oxidation when it comes in contact with other constituents in a vape juice. This causes the color of other e liquids to fade.

Liquid Density:

An expired e liquid will not be as dense as it once was. You will notice that, in addition to losing its color, an e liquid will also lose its thickness and become water like. If you notice this change, you should be able to deduce that the e liquid has expired.
